Is mainstream tv really white or is it just me?
I don't mean to start a fight. But it seems like tv is geared towards uptight yuppie whites. Look at how cheesy the commercials are and their annoying announcer voices. You know, with that fake laugh and that plastic smile. Everyone has blue eyes and blonde hair and everyone is just so damn happy all the time. And when I mean white, I mean whhhhhhiiiite like pre 1965 white. Where everyone wore crew haircuts and girls wore poodle skirts. Its just cheesy. I can't convey exactly what I mean but i think you know. WHITE is a certain aspect of the culture (A big aspect) not the color. Its a way of being. Does anyone know what i mean. I could also be the fact that I am in south. That doesn't help. Its like this ice cream ad I heard. It has these cheesy country music in the background and they said "Just like grandma used to make" I was like give me a fucking break lol. Or those commercials for sunny d. Or that thing for liberty medical diabetic supplies. Any lysol commercial. The swifer wet jet commercial. Just bland and white. Thye make all whites (like me) look bad. We are not all like that, trust me

I pretty much agree but I think stereotypical black commercials are just as bad
like "yo! you want to do somthin wich yo life dont you? its easy just call 1-800-everest. You got your phone you got the numba. do it."
but then, again theres stereotypical pothead commercials for taco bell, mom commercials for dish soap, they’re all just annoying and want you to think they understand you to sell you something. commercials are just annoying in general.

i agree, i hate commericals white or black, they all suck…well except for the ones that have half naked men in them…

Maybe if you grew up on the 50 s era. you have more common sense, and values, and be a better person
Bleeding heart societies with all their permissiveness and acceptance of all the crap that has take place since, is what has ruined things as we knew them..
At least we knew wrong from right, whereas today, wrongs are accepted and only for the minorities to create..
People do not have respect today for anything, anyone, anywhere or anywho… It has become a me, me, me society, and ther KIDS KNOW IT ALL… SO THEY (YOU) THINK…
