how would a dehydration affect the out come of a blood sugar test I know high blood sugar can make you dehydration but what if you are dehydrated going into the test

I ate two miniature donuts about an hour before my blood test and it came back as a 143. I was also drinking pop. I am not diabetic. I actually went in to get a random blood test for something else and I am only 31. My diet is not usually that un healthy.
